Our CinephileS Club is a haven for film enthusiasts who wish to explore the structural elements used in the films creation, not just a gathering to passively view content—it's a haven for those who find joy in the language of film. Join us on this cinematic journey, where every frame tells a story, and every discussion unveils new dimensions of appreciation for the seventh art. Engage actively in the co-creation process as we collectively evaluate the intricate elements shaping a film's structure. After the screening, immerse yourself in the dynamic exploration of Plot and Storytelling, Characterization, Cinematography, Editing, Soundtrack and Music, Dialogue and Script, Cultural Reception, and Content. Our Connected Content
Within the realm of our Creative Writing Club, intertwined with our course offerings, we immerse ourselves in the creation and adaptation of a diverse range of materials for quarterly film and theatre endeavors. The casting for these dynamic projects is sourced from the talented pool of members in both our Youth and Adult Drama Clubs, ensuring a collaborative and inclusive approach to the creative process.
The seamless execution of our projects, spanning direction, filming, editing, production, crewing, and advertising, is expertly overseen by the dedicated mentors of our Youth Content Creator Club, guiding and nurturing the skills of our members towards actualizing our projects.

Following the creative process, our Cinephile Club members step into the spotlight, assuming responsibility for the presentation and review of the collective projects.
To ensure an inclusive and dynamic environment, our membership is capped, and participants rotate every four months, allowing the realization of three distinct projects each year.

In addition to the unique offerings of each club, we actively provide a diverse array of creative disciplines facilitated by our Guest Mentor Lecturers throughout the year, fostering a rich and supportive learning environment for the community.

To Be Or Not To Be, That Is The Question!

In 1989, at the age of 28, I took a bold step into a new chapter of my life after a successful career in Real Estate. My destination was the prestigious "Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre" in NYC. Here, I embarked on a transformative journey into the world of acting, delving deep into the Meisner Technique under the esteemed guidance of the globally renowned acting teacher, Sanford Meisner. This marked the beginning of a profound exploration into the art and craft of acting that would shape my professional journey in the years to come.

In September 2001, alongside a collective of artists in Los Angeles, I played a pivotal role in organizing a massive fundraiser for 9/11 support. This poignant experience propelled me to Ground Zero, where I attended firemen's funerals at St. Patrick's Cathedral, conducted interviews with survivors, met with with ironworkers who manned the initial rescue operations, and developed a unique relationship that granted me the privilege of walking the cables of the Triborough Bridge. These profound encounters added a deeper dimension to my professional journey, fostering a connection between my work and the impactful events of that significant period in history. The Cinerama Dome on Sunset Blvd. hosted the completed film "In The Wake Of Madness" for 2 nights. It was during the filming of this event at the Sunset Room that I was introduced to Adam Duritz of the Counting Crows who facilitated my transition into the dynamic realm of the music industry. Here, I collaborated with several artists signed under Interscope Records, as a videographer I was involved in the creation of documentaries, EPKs, and various making-of projects.

During my venture into the heart of the Hollywood film industry in Los Angeles, I found myself collaborating with Director Roland Emmerich's esteemed production company, Centropolis Entertainment. In this dynamic environment, I honed my skills across various roles, serving as a producer, interviewer, videographer, audio recorder, and editor. Notably, I undertook the challenge of crafting a documentary for "The Day After Tomorrow" film, utilizing 60 hours of raw footage.
While the documentary, was voted by Stephen King, and earned the title of the "worst making of" in the year 2004, which I took as a badge of honor, the project itself was acquired by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, marking a significant milestone in my journey within the film industry.

Venturing into the production realm, my journey took me to the vibrant landscape of commercial advertising, where I collaborated with numerous production powerhouses such as Roman Coppola's Directors Bureau. Commencing as a Production Assistant, I navigated through diverse roles, eventually discovering my niche as a Set Photographer for numerous major American ad campaigns. This multifaceted experience provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies involved in the seamless execution and delivery of content production and market delivery.

Relocating to Germany in 2008, I established private acting studios in the vibrant cities of Berlin and Hamburg. Over the course of more than nine years, these studios became pivotal training grounds for over 300 actors. Notably, the studios garnered recognition as official post-graduate educational institutions, with the Meisner Technique attaining validation and acknowledgment as an MwSt frei German educational curriculum by the Berlin Senate for Education. This period marked a significant chapter in my commitment to imparting acting skills and fostering a dynamic learning environment in the German artistic landscape.
Over an enriching span of six years, I had the distinct privilege of serving as an instructor at Stage Entertainment's Joop van den Ende Academy. This role provided me with the opportunity to share my extensive knowledge in acting, teaching, and coaching with a diverse group of international performers. Through this experience, I played a key role in shaping their skills in the realm of musical theatre productions spanning across Austria, Germany, and the United Kingdom. This chapter stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and cross-cultural exchange within the world of performing arts.
Stepping into the role of an On-Set Coach for numerous German film and TV productions, my company MartzWalker swiftly became a sought-after resource. Specializing in the meticulous preparation of young actors, our focus centered on equipping them for the challenges inherent in both OnSet and Stage performances. Adhering to stringent German labor laws, which restrict young performers to four consistent hours of work, I dedicated myself to ensuring these aspiring talents not only met but exceeded the expectations of the directors, with a level of confidence and professionalism that rivaled their adult counterparts. This commitment aimed to foster a generation of adept and poised young actors in the vibrant German entertainment landscape.

Currently I teach at Zerboni Schauspiel Schule in Hamburg and Munich, as well as private trainings in Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich Germany.
